Value Added Processing

Our research is focused on the conversion of the agricultural products and the byproducts of processing, into value added food and non-food products. This involves conversion of the raw agricultural products and the byproducts of processing by thermal, mechanical and chemical ways.

Our current projects in this are include

  1. Development of value added products from fruits.
  2. Finding new uses for the byproducts (pomace) of fruit processing.
